Hi Pete, My question is two-part. How would you write a scan showing a Bollinger Band mid-line cross AFTER at least the 5-previous bars being below? I would like the scan to work on the smaller intraday time frames too. The second part of the question is a custom column showing the number of bars below before the cross. Thanks again!

The mid-line of the Bollinger Band study is just an ordinary moving average. Which means you can use the solution already posted here: https://www.hahn-tech.com/ans/price-below-ema-for-specified-period-then-crossing-above/ There are user inputs included with that solution that allow you to adjust it to fit your specific request. And if you search for similar solutions in the Watch List topic I'm certain you will find one that displays the number of days above or below the moving average. Since this question is a duplicate I will remove this post from the forum after 48 hours. Marked as spam
