Couple things in response here. First is that markets are fractal in their behavior. Meaning that the same patterns persist across virtually all time frames. So to ask if some method of trading can be used on Intraday versus daily is sort of missing the point. Second (and this the most important part), is that I generate video content using feedback I receive from other viewers. I have no clue whether any of this is profitable. I don’t know how to make money in the markets. I know how to take other people’s ideas and write code and build tools that help them get their charts working efficiently and according to their specifications.
In closing. Don’t miss the intended message. Please don’t latch onto any individual setup condition or trading methodology I may present. They are just presented as examples and the true message I am trying to convey is that you can take your own ideas and use these techniques to build your own tools.
I understand that you are not recommending specific trading strategies. I was only asking whether the concepts for generating and back testing arbitrary strategies that you teach can be used for interday trading. I assume that they can.
Thanks for clarifying your question. When I post answers I must be sure to account for the many future visitors to this post. I strive to write my answers to fit the broadest audience. Minor correction. The term interday is not correct. The correct term to use is intraday. Thanks for taking the time to post your questions here, looking forward to more in the future.
