I used your code and broke it off into 4 separate codes but I have tried every night after hours to scan but get nothing on any of the scans. I don’t know exactly how to fix it

Well you have provided virtually no details so let’s see if we can fill in the gaps. You are speaking of the code supplied with the video titled: “Thinkorswim Overnight Range Scan Alert” is that correct? It is quite obvious you have not watched the video. Otherwise you would not be asking this question. In your question, you state that you have been running this scan every night “after hours”. The code for this scan can only alert during regular session hours. It takes the overnight high and low, then plots those levels across the regular session hours of the chart. You did plot this on a chart, yes? There is an “alert period” displayed on the chart. That’s the yellow shaded area of the chart. The yellow shaded area is the time span in which alerts can be triggered.

Pete, I downloaded and installed the Overnight Range Study from your website. I imported it into studies. But it shows up in red. And when I click on it there appears to be nothing there to modify. I am not sure how to fix it. Thank you.

It looks to me like you copied and pasted the code instead of importing it. Are you sure you imported it? The name of the study in your screenshot indicates to me that either your copied and pasted the code or that you changed the name of the study after import.
Furthermore, if you copied the code that was posted on the web page BELOW the video, and tried to paste that into a new chart study…. (yes, I am absolutely certain that is what you did)…. well that code is to be used only for the scan.
Which also tells me you did not watch the entire video. Please don’t try to save time by skimming through or failing to view the entire video. Each one is jam packed with essential information. Information which is required in order for you to use the tools provided with each video.
