Hi Pete and all, I was wondering if someone could help me find a quick way to add several stocks into one chart, using ThinkorSwim. Let me explain. When looking at a chart I can add several stocks to that chart to get an average of several stocks performance by adding a plus sign (+) after every stock name, example: BA+IVR+SIX…and so on. This will provide a chart with those three stocks averaged, all in one chart, with only one candle stick series. My bottleneck is that I have 50 to 100 stocks that I want to see averaged out in one chart. This would take a lot of time to add the (+) and the stock name of those 50-100 stocks. So is there anyway someone can think of to be as efficient as possible to do this? So far I’ve tried exporting out the watch list that I want to do this to and put it on an Excel worksheet. Then I copy that list and put it on a Word document. However, when I copy the watch list from Excel and paste it to Word, it also paste the table, which then it does not allow me to connect the list. This is as far as I’ve gotten. Help! 😀

This is madness for certain (we have indexes to do this for us). But there is no easier method for loading this equation into the ticker box of the chart. The method you have attempted will work fine if you paste the data from Excel without formatting. There are two ways to do this.
