Scan for breaking above resistance levels

Hello Pete,

I’ve attached a custom script I found that  use for support resistance on charting. It is dynamic and changes daily.

I wanted to see if there’s a way to scan certain levels from the day before. Right now I compare historical charts (I set the time frame for 1 month UP TO yesterday) vs current charts (real time). But it’s hard to scroll through so many charts

I wanted to see if I can trigger alerts if a stock crosses VAH on the historical 30 day 1 hour chart. I have a feeling this may be impossible but it’s worth asking and sharing this script with anyone that wants it!

This is nothing more than a slightly modified version of the built-in chart study named "TPOProfile". The time it would take me to modify this to work as a custom scan is light-years beyond the brief 15 minutes I allow for free solutions in the Q&A Forum.

I suggest you take some time to view our video that shows how to use the Condition Wizard. Since this is already a built-in chart study included with Thinkorswim you should be able build whatever scans you need using the Condition Wizard:

If you are trying to scan for price crossing the plots from the previous profile period you should check our video named "Thinkorswim Scan Volume Profile" located here:
