Any way to save watch list columns?

My TOS install has taken to shutting itself down rather randomly and each time I reopen the darn thing, the watch list columns have reverted to some earlier ones i used.  It’s not a TOS default, since it also has some custom columns on it.  Anyway, the ones I want to use now are no longer there, so I have to go and set everything up again.

I believe you wrote about a workaround for saving the columns: https://www.hahn-tech.com/ans/is-there-a-way-to-save-my-customized-watch-lists/.  I tried that and for me it doesn’t work.  Everything is saved but for the chosen columns.  A real drag.  Is this just me or did TOS change something?  More to the point: do you have any other workarounds that might work?

thanks!

Sorry there are no known work arounds accept for what has already been described in the previous post you linked. The only option at this time to save the entire workspace. But even this will be wiped out if you reinstall Thinkorswim because the workspace layout is saved locally and not on the Thinkorswim server.

Thinkorswim developers will need to provide a method to save individual watchlist column layouts just as it does for Chart Grids and Scan. So everyone that needs this functionality needs to submit this as a feature request to TD Ameritrade support.
