Hello Pete, A quick question, if I may. I know that fully automated trading is not possible with Thinkorswim. At the moment, I submit a conditional order (thanks again to your great videos – I also made a donation today as a sign of gratitude), each time an alert (which is based on a study I created) is met. The thing is that I would like to trade at higher frequencies which implies making more frequent trades. I know that TD Ameritrade as an IPA’s platform. Have you ever coded there? In alternative, have you ever tried setting up an auto-trading platform (in whatever language with whatever platform)? Many thanks in advance. I guess this is something that might interest other people. Best, Riccardo

Thanks for your support, very much appreciated. Since you have indicated you are already using conditional orders to ‘auto-trade’ in Thinkorswim; I will recommend a couple other platforms to take your auto trading to the next level. Amibroker: https://www.amibroker.com/products.html Tradestation: http://www.tradestation.com/trading-technology/tradestation-platform Sorry to say I would have to respectfully decline to offer my services due to lack of experience. Something of this nature is best done by a company that has a great track record and has completed a large number of these systems. I have no one to recommend but there should be a descent number of outfits to choose from. Best of luck to you! Marked as spam

New features have been enabled in Thinkorswim which provide fully automated round trip trades. Meaning we can now automate the entry and the exit and we can daisy-chain multiple stages within the order sequence so that multiple round trip trades can be accomplished automatically. In addition to this, we can save these orders as an order templates so they can be reused with very little effort.
