Compute MACD from AdvanceDecline study

Hi Pete,

 

How do I chart Advance Decline line as a symbol so I can apply technical studies like MACD?   I want the current symbol on a chart to be AD line.

So are you speaking fo the chart study named AdvanceDecline? Or are you speaking of the technical indicator: $ADARD (there are many variations of this listed on Thinkorswim). It is not possible to plot anything on the chart accept a ticker symbol. So if you are speaking of the chart study named AdvanceDecline then we can provide a solution for that. But it does NOT involve setting the AdvanceDecline study as a ticker symbol on the chart.
