The Study Alert works very much like the Conditional Order. In fact they are so similar I actually use the Study Alert in the video demonstrating how to convert chart strategies to study alerts and study alerts to chart strategies. Within the description of the video you will even find code templates used to handle the conversion. Don't try using the templates without watching the video or you will not understand how to use them.
