Hi,

I copied the following ADX source code from Tradingview but I can’t seem to make it work on TOS.  Is there any adjustments that I need to make?  Thank you. It was too long so I’ll attach it as an attachment.

I am not sure what led you to believe you could simply copy the language from another platform and get it to work on a different platform. That is totally impossible as each trading platform uses it's own specific language.

When I view this study on TradingView I find that it matches exactly with the one that is already provided with Thinkorswim. The name of the built-in study on Thinkorswim is "DMI".

There is only one difference between the one provided with Thinkorswim and the one you have provided from TradingView. The one from TradingView includes a horizontal line with a default value of 20 which can be adjusted through user inputs. We have already published a version of ADX/DMI that includes two horizontal lines with adjustable inputs. That study can be found in the following post in the forum:

Since we have already published a solution there is no need to attempt to translate this study from TradingView.
