Volume profile on Chart shrinks as soon as I add Volume_Profile_Scan

Hello Mr. Hahn,

First all, Kudos to your scripting skills and the videos you make are awesome. I’m just trying out your Volume_Profile_Scan and as soon as I add the scan, Profiling on the chart shrinks to 10% in size. Looks like the problem is the price axis starts from “0” instead of the current price levels. I ran through your 39 minute few times but couldn’t figure out. Could you please throw some pointers on how to scale the profiling trend to actual size. I added a picture of my view. Thanks much.

The issue you are observing is caused by the fact the Volume Profile scan was never intended to be plotted. This was created to run in the scan engine of Thinkorswim. If you want to plot this “scan” on a chart you will need to add the statement: declare lower; to the top of the code. The scan will only plot the signals. If you want to plot the Value Area, POC and signals as described in the video you will need to purchase our Volume Profile premium study: https://www.hahn-tech.com/thinkorswim-volume-profile-study/

All of the instruction is provided in the video you already watched along with the latest video that demonstrates the current version of the indicator. You can view the latest video here: https://www.hahn-tech.com/thinkorswim-volume-profile-premium-study/

Please do not purchase the indicator until you have watched the video and understand how you will use it in your current trading setups.
